Arthur S. Colsky, M.D., Ph.D. Founder &  Medical Director of Advanced Acne Institute

The Advanced Acne Institute was founded by Arthur S. Colsky, M.D., Ph.D., a board certified dermatologist. Dr. Colsky recognized the need for a dedicated acne treatment facility to offer the most advanced forms of acne treatment. He realized the need to provide acne sufferers with solutions. Previously, many patients with resistant acne searched far and wide for a place to address their problem. They often visited centers that were not focused on treating acne which often led to further frustration when conventional therapy didn’t work.

Dr. Colsky received his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University in Molecular Biology. He then attended the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine where be received his M.D. And Ph.D. Degrees.Dr. Colsky’s research centered on mechanisms of inflammation and immunity. This research formed the foundation of Dr. Colsky’s interest in acne formation and led to the development of his acne treatment process.
